Tahitian Vanilla Extract
We produce our Vanilla Extract using only two ingredients, Grade A Tahitian Vanilla Bean and 80 Proof Vodka. Vodka is the preferred base for extract as it adds no extra flavor, providing the highest intensity of vanilla. The brewing process takes 8 months before we bottle, and we put two full beans extra in each jar to continue the process of extract brewing!
Our vanilla is ethically harvested from family farm's in Tahiti, Madagascar, Papua New Guinea, Uganda, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. We work with the farmers directly to ensure that the vanilla is single origin, top grade and the farmer is fairly compensated to ensure the preservation of this disappearing spice.
