Szeged Paprika - Sweet
Hungaries most famous Paprika comes form the region of Szeged. Its brighter in colour than Kalocsai and is often the preffered paprika for Chicken Paprikash!
Szeged paprika is made by the milling of ripened, dried pods grown in the fields of Szeged, which is a perfect area for growing the plant.
Hungarians use Paprika mostly for seasoning in cooking, but the vitamins and antioxidants in it promote good health. The Szeged Paprika is used in Hungarian dishes such as cheeses, eggs, fish, pastas, sweet pastries, and meat seasonings and goulash.
