Achiote or Annatto is a natural coloring agent and flavor enhancer. Our Yucatan Achiote spice is a mixture of smoky, nutty, sweet & spicy. Commonly used in Central America and Mexico as a marinade or rub on pork, chicken, or fish. Simply add vinegar to this spice to create achiote paste.
