Our Jaggery comes from Southern India in the historic, rain-fed, sugarcane-growing region. The steamy tropcial and lush regions of Kerala are perfect for growing sugar canes which produce the best and healthiest jaggery on the market. Ours is single origin and made by farmers.
Use the jaggery to sweeten your cups of chai, curries, baked goods, and more! Given that jaggery has a high molasses content (AKA the nutritious brown stuff that is usually pulled out of sugar during the refining process), expect a deep, rich flavor!
