Anyone who has experienced Vietnamese food knows that Pho is king! The secret to a good Pho is of course the broth. Pho broth is made with boiling bones, meat, aromatic vegtables and of course spices.
On a recent trip to Vietnam we discovered this satchel of spices used in the classic beef Pho, although it can be used for any kind of Pho typically.
To make an authentic Vietnamese Pho broth, simply pick your bone broth type (vegetarians can use shiitake mushrooms), choose a handful or aromatic veggies/herbs (green onion, leek, ginger, shallots) and add this spice packet into the broth tied in a cheese cloth.
This Pho Spices packet can spice up to 10L of water.
