Noomi Black Lime

Noomi or Basra lime are a popular spice used throughout the Middle East but are very popular in Iraq. In Iraq ground noomi are often used in soups to add a citrusy twist and are favoured in Kabsa, a slow cooked chicken/rice dish. We add our ground noomi into many of our recipes! Add it to pasta sauce, ground meat, tea, tagines and even vinaigrettes! The possibilities are endless with this secret ingredient from Iraq
