Lemon Myrtle comes from Australia's rainforests, especially in the northern regions near Cairns. Indigenous Australians used it traditionally for cooking and revered it for its extremely "lemony" properties. Lemon Myrtle is 30 times more concentrated than in lemon rind.
Australian's often mix Lemon Myrtle with olive oil and garlic to create a seasoning for salad. Its also easy to mix it with Tasmanian Pepper Berry and Salt to create a native Australian Lemon Pepper spice mix.
