Koseret - Ethiopian

Koseret is another essential ingredient to Ethiopian cuisine. Often described as tasting like Oregano but having its own distinctive flavor that is hard to substitute for. Koseret grows wild around Ethiopia and Eritrea and is used in many of the spices found around the horn of Africa including Niter Kibbeh (Ethiopian Spiced Butter).
 
It can be used in many red meat dishes, soups and drunk as a herbal tea as well! Try a unique flavor form the Horn of Africa!
