In the heart of the Damascus Souq in Syria we found a version of "Arabic Seven Spice" that quickly became our favourite. This delicous Middle Eastern Spice blend comes from one of the oldest Souq's (market) in the world! This savoury and smokey blend is perfect for slow cooking stews, rubs on meat especially lamb and of course in many vegetarian dishes like roasted chickpeas.
