Cardamom Korarima - Ethiopia
This is a very rare Cardamom that is harvested in small quantities in Ethiopia. It is prized for its strong and refreshing aroma’s and used in many Ethiopian dishes. After harvesting it is dried next to a fire giving the seeds a slightly smoky flavor. In Ethiopia Korarima Cardamom is used in spice blends like Berbere and to season my meat and stew dishes. We love to use this Cardamom in our baking and coffee as well! No need to take the husk out as it comes in seed form. Another one of Ethiopia’s amazing and rare flavors.
