Caraway has a slight licorice and bread flavor. In Nordic cuisine, Caraway is used to season smoked fish and cream cheese. In Germany, you will find Caraway in many dark rye and bread recipes. We use Caraway in a few of our Spice Blends such as Berbere and Icelandic Spice. Caraway grows in colder regions, Finland being one of the largest producers of Caraway.
