Scotch Bonnet Peppers (Bonney peppers, Caribbean red peppers)

This fruity & sweet chili is among the hottest peppers in the world measuring between 100,000-350,000 Scoville Heat Units. It is often used in West African & Caribbean cuisine to add heat & flavor to a dish, including Jerk Chicken! The name "Scotch Bonnet" comes from its close resemblance to the Tam O' Shanter hat often seen worn by men in Scotland.
