Sesame Seeds

Sesame is one of the worlds oldest spices. Used in Japanese and Chinese cuisine this spice has many folk tales behind it. Sesame was spread throughout the world s cuisines from the Silk Road. Now its common to find Sesame in African, Middle Eastern, European and of course Asian Cuisine. Sesame comes in tow colors, black and white. Both Colours have a distinct flavor that is associated with Sesame but the black Sesame has a slightly more earthy tone to it.
