The aroma of Dill seed is well suited to vegetable dishes, soups and stocks. Dill seeds can be cooked or sautéed in butter and added to puréed or whole vegetables shortly before serving. Popular as a pickling spice especially with cucumbers. Try experimenting with dill seeds, especially with seafood dishes.
