The Bahamian goat pepper is a chili pepper native to the Caribbean nation of the Bahamas, known for its tropical flavour and heat ranging from 100,000 to 350,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU). It has a sweet and fruity taste similar to a habanero reminiscing tropical fruit with a vibrant orange colour and wrinkled, sometimes pumpkin-shaped or "squashed" appearance. These peppers are a very popular culinary ingredient in the Bahamas especially for making hot sauces and powders.
