Sichuan Green Pepper
The Green Sichuan Pepper is less common than the red variety most know. Its taste is more robust with earthy undertones and is a great replacement for the more common red Sichuan peppercorn. Its rarer and harder to find the Green Sichuan peppercorn outside of Sichuan Province. In Sichuan they use this chili to spice up hot pots, noodle soup broths and on many seafood dishes as well!
