Our Dill Weed is grown in the hills of Lucania near the city of Matera in Southern Italy. Dill Weed is quite possibly the most popular spice here in Alberta, Canada due to the mass numbers of Ukrainians, Russians, and Polish people. Growing up with a Russian background my family used Dill in almost every meal imaginable. Cooked with butter, added to soups, seasoning fish, Dill Weed can go with absolutely everything! It’s a fresh herby taste that Eastern Europeans swear by to be one of the best flavors of all.
