Angelica Seeds are dried Hogweed seeds, a fruit-bearing bush that grows in the mountains of Iran and Afghanistan. They are known for their pleasant and strong aroma that is often found in Persian cuisine. Angelica Seeds unique aroma is great to season rice dishes, soups and marinades. In Iran the slightly bitter and floral aroma from the Angelica seed is used to make salts, lentil dishes and stews. Often Angelica seeds are added on top of many Iranian dishes to finish them.
